Set Up Shipping

Shipping products from your retail store can boost sales and expand your customer base by reaching those who may not be able to visit your physical location.

This feature is available with all subscription plans: 
  • Standard
  • Pro
  • Expert

Connect a Shipping account with City Hive to automatically calculate the cost of shipping based on the weight of the products a customer has added to their cart and distance to their location. The bottles are based on the following weights:

  • 50ml - 0.2lbs
  • 187ml - 0.66 lbs
  • 375ml - 1.32  lbs
  • 750ml - 2.65  lbs
  • 1L - 3.5  lbs
  • 1.5L - 4.63  lbs
  • 3L - 10.58  lbs 
  1. Begin on your shipping page under the settings section in the merchant dashboard
  2. Select "Add Carrier" Screenshot 2024-10-29 at 13.05.22
  3. Choose your shipping carrier in the pop-up you'd like to use and enter the required information

    Please Note: City Hive can integrate more than one carrier, but you can only use one carrier at a time. If you have questions about adding other carriers besides FedEx or UPS,  please reach out to support@cityhive.net

FedEx

If you choose to use FedEx, we need you to provide the information listed below. To retrieve this information, follow the steps  here.
  1. Meter Number
  2. Password
  3. FedEx Account Number
  4. Authentication Key
  5. Test Password
  6. Test Meter Number
  7. Test FedEx Account Number
  8. Test Authentication Key

UPS

If you choose to use UPS we need you to provide the information listed below. To retrieve this information, follow the steps here. 
  1. User ID
  2. Password
  3. XML Access Key
  4. Account Number

Additional Shipping Options

Select the options you wish to use when shipping an order under Shipping Info.

Click on the pencil icon in this section to add and modify additional packaging options.

Configure States

 Under Shipping Locations, add the states you'd like to ship to. For further steps on how to complete this, refer to our article here.
