      Integrate with Fedex Shipping

      FedEx web services can be integrated with your City Hive website and app to provide real-time rate information to customers looking to ship products to a location outside of your delivery zone.

       

      Please Note: You must accept the Alcohol Shipping Agreement with FedEx before shipping alcohol. If you have not done this yet, please contact your FedEx account executive to assist you with the authorization process. If you don't have one, schedule a time to chat with one of their alcohol shipping experts.

      Step 1: Get Test Account Details

      1. Begin on the Fedex web services website
      2. Under Develop and Test click on 'Get Started'
      3. After logging in, scroll down a bit and click 'Get Your Test Key'
      4. Accept the terms and conditions

      5. Review your contact information and then continue
      6. Accept the license authorization
      7. Copy the Developer Test Key,  Test Account Number and Test Meter Number from the page and enter it under your shipping settings in the City Hive dashboard under the Test Authentication Key Test, Fedex Account Number and Test Meter Number

      8. Retrieve your Test Password from the email received from Fedex with the subject 'Your Developer Test Key Registration is complete' and paste it into your City Hive dashboard under Test password

      Step 2: Get Production Account Details

      1. Begin on the Fedex web services website
      2. Under Move to Production click on 'Move to Production'
      3. Click 'Get Production Key'
      4. Fill in the Application Profile with the information below and click continue

      5. Accept the license agreement
      6. Add your account number and verify the information 
        1. Find your account number under the Account Management section of your Profile
      7. Continue through the developer info and then copy the Authentication Key and Meter Number from the screen and place it in your City Hive dashboard under the top section of the shipping settings

      8. Add your account number that was retrieved earlier under the Fedex Account Number 
      9. Retrieve your Password from the email received from Fedex with the subject 'Your Developer Production Key Registration is complete' and paste it into your City Hive dashboard under password

      This completes the integration for generating real-time shipping quotes for your customers. Please Note: You must accept the Alcohol Shipping Agreement with FedEx before shipping alcohol.
