Find out how to update or correct your store’s name and description on Google, including the editing process and expected timeline for changes to appear.
- Begin on your Studio section of the dashboard
- Under 'Website' you will be defaulted to the settings page
- Click the pencil icon next to 'Website title (SEO)' to enter your store name exactly as you want it to appear
- Once you've typed in the name, select the check mark to save
- Directly under the Website title, you’ll see where you can edit the description
- Click the pencil icon next to 'Website description (SEO)' to enter your store description exactly as you want it to appear
- Select the check mark to confirm and save your description
Google will need time to recognize the change, which can take up to a few weeks for them to crawl and update your listing. This update won’t appear automatically.
