How to Utilize Parameters

Parameters help efficiently filter specific criteria, whether you're organizing product groups, applying discounts, or managing orders. This enhances personalization and ensures convenience wherever the parameter setup is applied!

This feature is available with the following subscription plans. Merchants not on one of these plans will be automatically upgraded upon creating a product group.

  • Pro
  • Expert

Popular examples of utilizing parameters include:

  • Products
  • Location
  • Special promotions and deals
  1. Begin by defining the group. “Field”, “Operation”, and “Value”
    1. For the "Field" option, this refers to the type of item you want to apply the parameter to. The simplest method is to specify by "Tags," which will include all items associated with that tag
    2. For "Operation," this defines how the field is applied. "Contains" specifies that the entire group shares the same field
    3. For "Value," enter the type or specific subcategory for the group you are creating

Examples of grouping:

  • Creating a customer group with the criteria: "Customers buying whiskey with an average spend of $100 or more" + "Customers buying vodka with an average spend of $50 or more"
  • Creating a product group to include "Whiskey over $50" or "Vodka over $30"
