It walks you through creating an API token in your Clover dashboard, with screenshots for each step. Follow those steps in a separate browser tab and **keep this window open** so you can come back to it. To finish, fill in the two fields in the **Requirements** section at the bottom of the window. ![Screenshot 2026-10-22 at 4.31.48 PM](https://support.cityhive.net/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-10-22%20at%204.31.48%20PM.png?width=503&height=135&name=Screenshot%202026-10-22%20at%204.31.48%20PM.png) **For Store ID**, enter your Clover store ID, which is the code between `/m/` and `/api-tokens` in your Clover page address (for example, clover.com/setupapp/m/XXXXXXXX/api-tokens). **For API Token,** paste the private token you created in Clover: on Clover's API Tokens page, click the eye icon to reveal it, then click Copy.
