Connect Bank Account

Configure your City Hive account with our credit card processor, Braintree, and get payments from online orders right to your bank. 

When an order comes from your mobile app and/or website, that means that the customers' bank has authorized an amount to be sent to your account. This authorization is only valid for 10 business days so it is important to accept all orders that you're able to fulfill immediately. Disbursements are sent to your bank once a business day at 6PM EST. If an order is accepted before that time then the order will be disbursed the next business day. If an order is accepted after 6PM EST, then it will be sent to your bank in 2 business days.Depending on the type of card and the time of day the order was placed, the amount charged will appear in your bank account in between 1-5 business days.

  • Visa & MasterCard orders accepted before 6PM show charges by the next business day. Orders accepted after 6PM show charges within 2 business days. 
  • American Express orders show charges with 2-5 business days.  

 

Head to Your City Hive Dashboard

Under 'Commercial Information', enter the owner's information so that Braintree can verify their connection to the bank account. 

 

 

Fill in the information above to receive the next set of information needed.

 

 

Enter the details of your business and accept the Braintree Terms of Service. *For those with multiple locations but one bank account, we recommend that you fill out the 'Descriptor' section so you can identify the origin location of the deposit. 

 

Click 'Submit'. We'll send you an email for *approval.
