# Add Your Social Media Links

## Adding social media links to your website builds trust, provides real-time updates, encourages user-generated content, expands reach, enhances customer support, and creates more marketing opportunities. Learn how to add these links here!

**Facebook URL**

1. Go to facebook.com and sign in
2. At the top-right, click on your name
3. Copy the Facebook Profile URL in the address bar of your browser

**Twitter URL**

1. Go to twitter.com and sign in
2. At the top-right, click on your image, and then click on profile to view your profile page
3. Copy the twitter Profile URL in the address bar of your browser

**Instagram URL**

1. Go to instagram.com and sign in.
2. At the top-right, next to the heart, click on the human icon to view your profile page.
3. Copy the Instagram Profile URL in the address bar of your browser

**Yelp URL**

1. Go to yelp.com
2. Enter the name of your liquor store and city in the search bar and click to select your store
3. Copy the Yelp Profile URL in the address bar of your browser
   
   **Click on the checkmark once done to save all changes**

 We chose only to show how to upload the first 4 as we found these to be the most popular. In order to add the other URLs please follow the same steps!

**Facebook**

1. The first way to start promoting your store is to setup a [Facebook Business Page](https://www.facebook.com/business/help/1968057156746246?id=939256796236247) for your local store. This will allow you to setup hours, link your website, and create business posts to promote your products.
2. After your business page is setup, you can start posting to promote products! If there's a group of products you would like to advertise we recommend first creating a product group and then copy and pasting that link into your post, or if there are individual items you would like to highlight just copy and past the individual products URL into the post.

**Instagram**

1. For Instagram you'll first want to create a profile which does not have to be registered as a business (as Facebook requires).
2. Next you'll want to start posting high quality images and portraits of your store, products, or staff! Any images that are friendly, inviting and advertising your products.
3. The best way to advertise products directly in your post, is **not by linking in the direct post**, but to display the items in the post and in the wording redirect them to your website, which you can link in your Instagram bio to your website.
